What is Life Coaching?

You may have recently come across the term, and not be to sure exactly what life coaching is.

It’s a solution focused approach to personal development, aimed at helping people make very positive and lasting changes in their lives.

People, or ‘clients’, are encouraged to realise their true potential by following a process that will uncover and eliminate obstructive thinking and behavioural patterns in their lives.

The life coach facilitates this change using tried and trusted tools and techniques to empower their clients, in a caring, supportive and inspiring environment.

A life coach is there to guide and inspire his or her client to bring about a clearer understanding of their aspirations, goals and life purpose and to effect the necessary changes in their current and future behaviour to ensure the realisation of those goals and aspirations.

Human nature being what it is … with the motivation, support and caring that a good life coach can provide, most people are capable of achieving far more and leading more fulfilling lives than they would if left to their own devices!

At the core of life coaching is the belief that every person has the capability to be, do and have anything he or she desires. 

We are all unique individuals but we share one very powerful attribute – the ability to create our own reality through our thoughts, intentions, beliefs and actions.

You must take action if you want any thing to change.

How do I know If I need a Life Coach?

Do you feel like certain parts of your life just aren’t where you want them to be? Do you feel like your not fulfilling your full potential or not recognising what your full potential is. Is your life coaching service confidential?

Yes, it is a completely confidential service. All clients coming to me can trust that all their personal and private information will be kept private. Building a genuine and authentic relationship together requires trust and without confidentiality the process will face many challenges. For life coaching to be effective it is crucial to feel safe, and connected with your coach.

What does working with you look like?

My programs are generally 3 to 12 months (Dependant on your goals and how much work needs to be done). They are not one size fits all programs like some other coaches. They are tailor made to your needs and situation. During this time we will have regular weekly or fortnightly sessions, until you are making steady progress and then we can reduce the sessions frequency if you want too.

You’ll have email and WhatsApp support from me in between sessions (If wanted). So you’ll feel fully supported throughout the whole process.

Despite the programs length I will remain in your corner for as long as you need me, or just to give you that extra boost ever so often, to keep you motivated and on the right track.

What areas do you cover?

For face to face sessions (within a reasonable travel distance) I cover many parts of London, Essex and Kent.

For phone/web chat/Skype sessions I offer a worldwide service.

I am based in Greater London, South Hornchurch/Rainham. 

What are your fees?

I don’t discuss my fees before having the initial consultation. The reason being your decision to work with me should be based on how much value you will get from me, and how well we connect. Not on whether you think you’re getting a bargain or not.

This is your life and happiness we’re dealing with.  If you put a price on that, then there’s nothing that you wouldn’t under value (just a little food for thought).
